Who runs grandicasino
The publisher is the Prairie Island Indian Community, a federally recognised tribal nation whose offices are at 5734 Sturgeon Lake Road, Welch MN 55089, US. The Community also owns Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Welch, which is entry #1.
Our #1, explained without spin
Treasure Island heads the list because the Community owns it. No independent comparison sits behind that slot, and we do not pretend otherwise. Money spent on a Treasure Island stay goes to the same owner that publishes these pages. The remaining nine hotels have no tie to us; their order is an editorial call.
Where revenue comes from
Two streams keep grandicasino running: referral commission when one of our links leads to a reservation at another property, and the Community's direct income when guests choose its riverside resort. Places on the list are never for sale.
Selection rules
- Each write-up starts from what the property itself puts in print, then gets checked against tourism offices and public listings.
- Text stays on rooms, food, pools, spas, events and access. The gaming side shows up exactly once in each entry, as a neutral facility line.
- Room totals, prices and opening years are left out unless the property states them clearly; reviews are never manufactured.
- Seasonal facilities are flagged for you to confirm.
Why the publisher knows this ground
Running a resort on the Mississippi teaches you what guests phone about before arrival: extra charges, age limits, the drive from the airport, accessible rooms. Those calls shaped the practical notes in each entry.
Fixing mistakes
Spotted an error or a stale fact? Email contact@grandicasino.org naming the hotel and the detail. We verify it against the property's own source and amend the entry, normally inside a week.
